Eligibility Criteria for Talathi Post in Maharashtra State

Educational Qualification for Talathi –

(1) Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification as per the Revenue and Forest Department, Maharashtra Government Order dated 01st July 2010.

(2) As per Maharashtra Government General Administration Department Decision No. Training 2000/prakaran-61/2001/39 dated 19.03.2003, A Computer Qualification certificate CCC or ‘O’ or ‘A’ or ‘B’ or ‘C’ Level exam passed from DOEACC Government of India OR Maharashtra State Higher & Technical Educational Board Mumbai approved MS-COT exam passed.
If computer qualification not available at the time of application, the candidate must be passed the above exam within two years from the date of appointment.

As per Maharashtra Government General Administration Department Decision No. SRV2015/pra.kra.404/Office.12 dated 12th April 2016

Minimum age not less than 18 years and Maximum age not more than 38 years for unreserved and 43 years for reserved categories.

Age Limit for Ex Serviceman for Talathi Vacancies – Age of Ex Serviceman – Length of Service with three years age relaxation as per the government order.

Age Limit for Handicapped Ex Serviceman – maximum age limit will be 45 years.

For Sports Person – Maximum 5 years are relaxation applicable.

For Physically Handicapped Person – Maximum age limit is 45 years.

General Eligibility for Talathi Vacancies in Maharashtra –

(1) Applicant must be domicile of Maharashtra State. In case the applicant has resident of 865 villages from the Karnataka Border as per Maharashtra Government General Administration Department Order no. Maksee-1007/prakra-36/ka-36 dated 10th July 2008.

(2) Applicant should have the knowledge of Marathi language.

(3) OBC category applicant should be submit the Non Creamy Layer Certificate for the financial year 2018-19 at the time of verification of documents.

  3. what about the candidates who are expemption for exam fees ? The Bank challan is necessary before feeling the form . How should we proceed ?

      You can apply for Talathi Bharti 2016 if you are below 38 years and completed your graduation degree.

    Now the max normal candidate age limit is 38 than can I get benifit of 10yr examption for PH candidate

    I am, also unable to login in my account.
    Also on 25th August list of eligible candidate expected, but no any Information regarding this, and both helpline numbers are getting always Switched Off.

    Please advise what it is the current status of this process (Recruitment of Lipik/ Talathi)

    1. For Talathi Post the qualification is minimum Graduation. After Graduation you will be entitled for Talathi post
